Rely on Us to Answer Your Questions Patiently

Have a question related to door types or installation? We have the answer. Check out these FAQs and give us a call today for more information!
  • How do I get a quote for a job?

You can feel free to call us at (561) 414-2089. If you have the information we need to provide a quote, we will gladly do so. However, the best course of action is typically to visit our showroom and production facility at 4365 Okeechobee Blvd in West Palm Beach.

  • Do all doors installed in South Florida need to be hurricane-rated?

Yes. When you use a licensed contractor such as Strictly Doors Inc, all installations must meet the current building code.

  • Do I need a permit for work on my home?

If you have up-to-date code-approved shutters or want to use impact glass, we will pull a permit for your job and call for an inspection by your local building department. Once done, you will have 100% peace of mind that your doors are up to code.

  • What types of materials can I choose from for my residential replacement door units?

We offer fiberglass doors with poly-fiber frames from Plastpro; one of the top names in the industry. Glass from 3 different manufacturers can be inserted into these doors. We also carry French and sliding doors in aluminum and vinyl frame options for your patio.

  • Who installs my doors?

All work is done by full-time employees of Strictly Doors Inc. We do not compromise your job by using subcontractors.

  • Do you have doors in stock?

We stock many commercial hollow metal doors and frames that can be picked up or built for the needs of contractors. For homeowners, we will procure the products you choose and then build your unit in our shop.

  • For my residential door needs, do you have a showroom where I can see what I might be interested in? Can you come out to my home and show me what you have?

Yes, we do have a showroom with many sample doors and glass options on display. No, we do not offer in-home sales. We keep the costs down by not doing so.

  • How long is the wait to get my doors installed?

At this time we are running 10-12 wks from the day we measure your job until the day we install it.

  • Do my new doors require painting or staining?

Fiberglass doors are offered in an unpainted smooth or woodgrain-primed finish to allow you as the homeowner to choose the exact finish you want. We also offer a selection of pre-finished doors - painted or stained.

  • How long will it take to install my doors? Will I be without a door for any period of time?

Depending on the size of the job, we will install a single door in 4-5 hrs and a double door in 5-7 hrs on average. Always in one day. And the only time you will be without a door is briefly during our installation process.

  • Can I convert my sliding doors to French doors?

Yes. We consider ourselves experts in sliding to French door conversions. We can also remove your existing French doors and change them out for sliding doors if you choose.

  • Can I have you come out to cut open my existing doors and place glass in them?

Unfortunately no. Cutting open a door and putting a glass insert in it is not something we offer. Homeowners need to be aware that even if the glass placed in the door is impact-rated, the unit is not considered up to code i.e. it will not carry a hurricane rating. As a licensed contractor, we need to do all jobs with a permit and none is required nor can one be pulled for that type of work.

  • What are the warranties on the products you offer?

Our Plastpro fiberglass doors and frame have a minimum 25-year warranty. Our glass vendors offer a minimum 10 year warranty. Our hardware manufacturers (handlesets, knobs, levers, deadbolts) offer lifetime finish warranties.
